<London Marathon
16th April 2000

Unfortunately this year we could not get a place on the Golden Bond, where we pay £250 each for 5 runners' places. However we are on the waiting list for next year. We are lucky though that 2 people have got places and nominated us as their charity.

Runner number one - David Murphy who lives on Merseyside is 40 years of age. It is his second London Marathon.

Runner number two - Tessa Smout is 28 years of age and lives in Ely in Cambridgeshire.

They need our support in the form of sponsorship and anybody who lives in the london area coming down with T-shirts and banners, supporting them on the day. They are putting themselves through unimaginable pain barriers to raise money for the Association.
