Suzi Quatro was born into a musical Detroit family on June 3rd 1950.

In 1964, at the age of 14 she became the bass player in her sister Patti's band "The Pleasure Singers"

Suzi hit the Number One spot in the British charts in 1973 with "Can The Can"

She appeared as 'Leather Tuscadero' in the American television show "Happy Days" performing her own recordings of "Devil Gate Drive" and "I May Be Too Young"

Unfortunately Suzi has not had a lot of success in the US she has a unbelievably large following though out the rest of the world especially in Australia

Her career has broaden out from rock and roll to cover appearances in stage musicals. Although she still tours regularly with her band.

Only a few artists can be recognized as real ground breakers in Rock 'n" Roll. Suzi Quatro was, and is , one.
